Electrosensitivity is the increased sensitivity to (artificial) electromagnetic fields such as those emitted by WLAN routers/DECT telephones and mobile phone masts. Electrosensitive people have a lower tolerance to electromagnetic radiation than the average population.

Electrical hypersensitivity is a condition that develops over a long period of time and under exposure. Just as some people get acute health problems from eating nuts, dairy products or gluten, others are particularly sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. Health problems can take the form of headaches, headaches, concentration problems, sleep problems, blurred vision and mood swings, among other things - quite early after exposure begins. Others do not notice the effects of the radiation or do not suspect the radiation to be a problem until a serious illness occurs.
